BitchLand Build 9.c Public Release


With help from a patron, I've finally fixed one of the biggest bugs in the game! it existed since build 1!!

It was that custom imported hairs would be invisible, AND starting from build 6 (save/load update) it'd cause Lockers and Helmets to dissapear! Now it's Finally fixed! :D

Change log 9.c:

-Finally Fixed a bug causing custom hairs being invisible, and likely more things that were affected like misplaced objects in save/load, such as lockers and helmets

Change log 9.b:

-Added [Belly Bulge] during sex and it scales depending on penis size the bulge
-Added settings option to enable/half/disable belly bulge
-Added [Face Presets] and [Body Presets] with Save & Load option in Customize menu.  These let you save a face/body, and load them later.

-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-tried fixing lockers dissapearing after loading game
-Fixed changelog menu's text going on top of eachother
-Fixed player respawning outside the Pit
-Fixed multi options showing always "3" after the 3rd option

finally, the "more commentary."  

the mechanics behind sex really need an overhaul.  first, in non-prostitution sex, stamina decreases per orgasm.  one of the sex perks increases the speed at which the player achieves orgasm.  it seems the intention is to increase sex exp gain, combined with the exp gain per orgasm perk.  this, however is outweighed by the downsides to orgasming.

foremost, other than EXP, there is no direct benefit to orgasming.  only stamina cost.  you only get positive rep from your partner orgasming.  once you have the "speed" perk, you'll orgasm roughly twice as often as your partner does.

the issue this causes is exemplified by the optional part of the army quest "knock down the ESB and make them orgasm till they like you."  without the speed perk, you'll spend your whole stamina bar to do this.  with it, you have to sleep and spend a second whole stamina bar.  well, barring you do not exploit the system and only use oral on them.  if you never orgasm, you never lose stamina.

on that some token, if your partner never orgasms, you never gain rep.  this makes oral acts preformed on you a waste of time, generally.

i can think of a few ways to fix the situation, varying in invasiveness from a series of relatively minor changes, to a complete and total overhaul.  if nothing at else at all, the speed perk really needs to target the NPC, not the player.

oh, and the new content, specifically:

zea's quest is mostly perfect, the only real problem was "back alleys" was not marked on the map.  i had a good idea of the location from having played other builds, but complete newcomers might get stuck here.

sarah's quest could benefit from a new general mechanic for NPCs, for when NPCs have instructed the player to follow them.  When players are told to follow an NPC, have that NPC stop and wait for the player if the player is past a certain distance to the NPC.

when sarah left her apartment to go to the lab, i lost her for a bit.  i even somehow missed her icon on the map.  i did eventually find it, but i actually searched the entire rest of the gardens before i stumbled into her. 

going through things:

the optical culling problem in the second floor of the strip club is fixed.

however, there are still culling issues.  mostly with world geometry.  the huts out in front of war's statue for example.

the optional route for the army intro missions is still broken.  it still is not possible to "throw down the ESB and make them orgasm until they like you."  more commentary on this follows.

NPC scheduling might be fixed?!  i've noticed all the soldiers going on and off shift, and sarah no longer seems to get stuck.

that said, there's still issues with the interactible objects in the strip club.  stripping poles really need to be restricted to just a single user at a time.
